Roth Estates Wines

Please welcome a new arrivals to the ShopUncorked.com family:  Roth Estates Wines.

Roth Estates is a family owned winery dedicated to wine growing in Sonoma County, producing wines from Alexander Valley and the cool Sonoma Coast.  Roth first began their classic Bordeaux wine production in 2001 and year after year have continued to honor each varietal and the specific region from which the wines are sourced for production.

The Roth line-up offers a wine for all palates as well, with a Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Cabernet all on feature for this week's WOW.  AND, to boot, all varietals are under $25.00 per bottle!  Enjoy and ease out of Summer and into Fall with one or all three of these Roth Estate wines!

Roth Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2010 Tasting Notes

"Roth Estate is committed to making wines with the truest and best expression of the diverse and idyllic growing conditions in Sonoma County. The 2010 Roth Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of fresh flowers and dried citrus notes. On the palate, the wine is bright and refreshing with balanced notes of grapefruit, key lime and fresh tropical flavors. Fermented entirely in stainless-steel tanks, it has bright acidity and a minerality accent in its crisp, persistent finish." - Winemaker Notes
Blend: 98% Sauvignon Blanc, 2% Viognier

Roth Estate Pinot Noir 2009 Tasting Notes

"Roth Estate is committed to making wines with the truest and best expression of the diverse and idyllic growing conditions in Sonoma County. The 2009 Roth Estate Pinot Noir, grown on the Sonoma Coast, has pure, ripe varietal flavors of red and Bing cherries that are well focused, elegant and persistent. It was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. It is a beautiful display of cool-climate Pinot Noir, with excellent depth and complexity of flavors accented with hints of sweet oak." - Winemaker Notes

Roth Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 Tasting Notes

"Roth Estate is committed to making wines with the truest and best expression of the diverse and idyllic growing conditions in Sonoma County. The 2008 vintage of Roth Cabernet Sauvignon has soft and supple tannins, with plenty of intense, rich blackberry, cherries and currant. Fruit forward, yet complemented with sweet oak, nutmeg and vanilla for a long, lush finish. Aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels, it is drinking bright and beautiful now. It will gain greater complexity with two to six years in the cellar." - Winemaker Notes
