"De Bortoli Wines is a family-owned company that was established in 1928 by Italian immigrants Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli, who came from the Treviso region in northern Italy.
De Bortoli Wines is now under the custodianship of a fourth generation. Each family member is involved in the business, including the winemaking, which is overseen by Managing Director Darren De Bortoli, and Winemaker, Steve Webber, Leanne De Bortoli’s husband. Leanne and Steve manage the Yarra Valley Winery and Vineyard, Kevin De Bortoli is Company Viticulturist and Victor De Bortoli is Export Director.
De Bortoli has wineries in three diverse regions: the Riverina NSW is famous for its iconic dessert wine Noble One; the Hunter Valley NSW is renowned for the unique character and quality of its Semillon and Shiraz; and the Yarra Valley in Victoria is recognized for its premium cool climate wines.
